Standards & guarantees

As they are subject to continuous checks during fabrication and a battery of complete tests before packaging, Uprint products are guaranteed to be very high quality and to provide satisfaction. They have now been awarded the following certificates.

ISO 9001Certification

ISO 9001 certification corresponds to compliance with standards established within the company in both management and quality. It imposes organizational requirements to validate and certify the quality management system.

ISO 14001 Certification: 

ISO 14001 certification validates the environmental management of the company. It implies continued improvement of product performance levels in terms of respect for the environment.

 

ISO 19752-19798 Certification: 

These certifications subject Uprint to the same tests as original cartridge manufacturers for laser monochrome cartridges (ISO 19752) and colour laser cartridges (ISO 19798).

They also define the rate of coverage for inks and provide guidelines for the definition of the end of life of a cartridge (contrast, number of pages printed, toner level…).

 

STMC certification: 

STMC certification requires us to use test methods which have been standardized for the printer cartridge industry. The certification allows us to objectively compare the performances of the various makes of toner cartridge:

  • Quality and density of the toner
  • Autonomy
  • Print quality

The European RoHS directive:

It aims to limit the use of 6 hazardous substances.
RoHS means Restriction of the use of some Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment
In 2011, a revision of the Directive has extended the number of electrical appliances involved.
-Effective from 1 July 2006, any new product on the market in the European Union, whether imported or manufactured in the EU, must comply with the directive.

Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (REACH):

REACH is a regulation of the European Union an the European Parliament Council, adopted December 18, 2006, modernizing the European legislation on chemicals, and implements a unique integrated system for registration, evaluation and authorization of chemicals in the European Union.

Its aim is to improve the protection of human health and the environment while maintaining competitiveness and strengthening the innovation of the European chemical industry.
